Abstract
  • A study of biblical prayer reveals principles for Scripture sanctions as effectuating prayer. This project demonstrates that biblical prayer principles constitute the most effective model for Christian prayer, and that consistent practice of these principles produces positive change in prayer attitudes, habits, results, knowledge, experience, and personal needs. Despite the prominence Scripture gives prayer in making Christian life and ministry effectual, Christians fail in developing effective prayer lives. Inability to pray effectually themselves and secure God's answer fosters problems of spiritual ineptness and defeat. The project trained in effectual prayer adult volunteers who expressed little confidence in their prayer relationship with God.
