- This research is about the current development through which the Akan of Ghana celebrate funerals in our contemporary time, and the challenge this development poses to the socio-economic and cultural dynamics of the people. The author calls for the reduction if not total elimination of excesses in these funerals and how through conversion and action the Akan and Christian values will be preserved.
