- Abstract
- This study examines the Seminary in Mission (SIM) concept held by the Latin American Adventist Theological Seminary, its current perception, and its degree of application by the five campuses. The SIM concept indicates that faculty will carry out on-campus academic activities as well as off-campus field work with undergraduate theological students on a weekly basis. The first part develops a theoretical framework to obtain criteria for the evaluation. The second part contains the perceptions stated by respondents to a survey on the SIM concept. Results indicated that the concept is widely accepted. However, its application appears comparatively weak.
