Abstract
  • The purpose of this project is to develop an inquiry-based design for a Masters level course in theological research methodology. The intent is to explore the nature and purpose of researching the theological disciplines, define the cognitive, affective and skill outcomes for masters theological students, and design a two-hour one-semester course which optimizes the learning outcomes. The course design groups the intended learning outcomes in three conceptual units: inquiry skill, resource competency and writing proficiency. The project provides a sample course outline, course syllabus, and course evaluation.
