- Abstract
- This project proposes that the church as the body of Christ can and should be a blending of different people of various backgrounds sharing a common faith in Jesus Christ. By lifting up the biblical image of an inclusive body of Christ, intentionally extending fellowship to all believers, promoting a more visibly inclusive lay and pastoral leadership, and developing safe places of communion for all people, a congregation enjoys the diversity of God's family and celebrates a more effective witness in the church and community.
