Abstrakt

The project analyzes the problem of assimilating or incorporating new members, a major problem facing many congregations, and offers a partial solution. Methodology included a congregational survey, former and new members' survey, and personal interviews. Five key elements move a congregation toward a partial solution: a hospitality committee, the diaconal ministry, friendship evangelism, celebrative worship, and small groups.
