Abstract
  • Training lay ministry team leaders to apply worship practices in committee meetings may strengthen a congregation's ability to follow God's call faithfully in decision-making as increased attention is given to the directive presence of the triune God. The author trained five leaders in his congregation to include God in the conversation of regular meetings by using a specific ministry team worship practice rooted in the corporate worship act of commissioning. Participant survey results indicated that lay leaders successfully integrated worship practices into task discussion and gained confidence and motivation for spiritual leadership and administration in the body of Christ.
