- Abstract
- This project examines and evaluates the effect of broadcasting a weekly cable television program on the members of Owens Cross Roads United Methodist Church and its surrounding community in rural Madison County, Alabama. Based on telephone surveys and written questionnaires, the project determines that 16 half-hour programs aired in 1996 do not change the church image in the community significantly, but they do enhance the self-image of members.
