Abstract
  • The thesis of this ministry project is that pastors can be liberated from the success syndrome by finding significance and encouragement in their ministries by viewing themselves through the lens of a biblical anthropology, rather than their myopic status in the 'celebritized' Christian culture. Pastors were encouraged to maintain this perspective by developing a strategy for regularly embracing this new viewpoint in their lives. The pastors participated in three two-hour workshops, and one five-hour retreat. Through questionnaires, evaluation surveys, and discussions, the project leader was able to assess the overall effectiveness of the project. This ministry project accomplished its objectives.
