Abstract
  • At one time spiritual formation and worship was common as ordinary features of Christian households. However, household worship is often absent from contemporary Christian culture in America. This thesis made a case for the effect and benefit of household worship on the spiritual well-being of those who practice it. Twenty-six people representing eighteen households led household worship for eight weeks. Leaders in each household met together for instruction and support. These leaders took the Spiritual Well-being Scale before and after implementing household worship. The growth in spritual well-being of those who participated in practicing household worship was statistically significant.
