Abstract
  • This project proposes to mobilize the members of Good Shepherd Baptist Church in Amherst, Ohio to be active personal evangelists. Chapter one states the purpose, goals, context, and rationale for this project. Attention is given to the personal method of evangelism. Chapter two shows the promise of expository preaching to move people to witness by stating a biblical, theological and historical basis for preaching. Chapter three argues that the life of the preacher should match the message being given. Attention is given to the preparation of the preacher. Chapter four describes what happened during a comprehensive sequence of ministry actions. Chapter five gives the results of the project's ministry actions. This project discloses that mobilization of a church to evangelize is maximized when expository preaching is a part of a comprehensive series of ministry actions.
