Abstract
  • This project explores the dynamics of application in preaching with particular emphasis on how to forge applications and the use of a feedback group to develop these applications. The methodology was to research homiletical principles of application, preach sermons utilizing these principles, and to co-teach a Sunday School class on 'How to get more out of a sermon' which served as the feedback group. The project found that application in preaching is a crucial subject to study, feedback should be sought for one's preaching, and application necessitates closer interaction with the congregation.
