Abstracto

This project examines the intimate and necessary connection between the liturgy of the church and the life of the church. It proceeds with an examination of liturgical praxis, which includes a synopsis of what the church intends to happen in its worship, and the disparities between those intentions and what actually happens. A program of education and reflection in a parish addresses the disparities in one local situation. The project concludes that there is a need for ongoing liturgical reflection and a deepened understanding of the pastoral ministry.
