Abstract
  • Many evangelism programs do not emphasize or recognize the New Testament concept of witness. Generally, personnel witness has been replaced by a truncated, sterile proclamation of the gospel. As a result, many people have a negative, stereotyped conception of what faith sharing is. This has contributed to a decline and hesistancy in sharing the Christian faith. This dissertation explores ancient and modern models of faith sharing to determine how crucial personal witness is. The project is a series of sermons which encourage by example, that a modern, effective witness must be willing to share personal experiences of the divine.
