Abstrakt

This paper tells the story about forming community among the residents of a skilled nursing facility. As their chaplain, I daily sat in listening presence with them. This paper tells the story about how I assessed the need, visioned and developed the concept/model of Spiritual Life Group, and evaluated the efficacy in transforming both the individual life of each resident as well as the habitus of the facility. This paper also celebrates the remarkable faith, courage, and love of these dear people as they helped redeem our world by their daily lived experience of the Passion.
