Abstract
  • Based on the thesis that pluralism in theology and faith expression is a biblical and historic given of the church, this project proposes a model whereby the local church may be helped to embrace its pluralism. The format is a series of four small group dialogues held in a local United Methodist church. Changes of attitudes are measured by an instrument administered at the beginning and at the end of the dialogue process. The results indicated by the data are increased affirmative attitudes vis-a-vis differing theologies and faith expressions.
