Abstract
  • This thesis traces the effects of a Christian feminist theological perspective on the practice of preaching and worship in a local church. The local church and a group of feminist women self-identified as Christian participated in preaching and worship modeled on a community-based format, and on a communal preaching/reflection format. Data concerning changes in the participants' understandings were gathered through structured questionnaires; each participant from the local church taped an exit interview. This project shows that a feminist theological perspective requires changed formats for preaching.
