Abstract
  • The administrative council of the Calvary United Methodist Church, Van Wert, Ohio, selected a group of people with regard to representation of the congregation and contribution to the program. This group, project associates, led by the author, met to identify theological perspectives of the congregation, examine sociological information about the community and to formulate a strategy for ministry. This strategy will direct the church in decisions concerning programming, staff and leadership, and use of facilities. The project also explored topics such as church health, the significance of story, grief and change, and collegiality-leadership issues.
