- Abstract
- This project was designed to equip laity in the development of personal ministries. Two control groups of 10 people and a training group of 15 were enlisted to participate in the training process. The object of the project was to move the training group away from the low control group and toward the high control group. The training strategy used a three pronged approach: students participate in weekly lectures; homework assignments; and experience with a variety of ongoing ministries. Evaluation showed that two things are essential in motivation to do ministry: 1)an undeniable sense of God's call; and 2) a knowledge of where to begin in developing a ministry.
