Abstract
  • Local churches are responsible and crucial to world missions. This project attempts to help Evangelical Baptist Missions (EBM) to begin addressing the challenges that church mission leaders face. Five church missions teams were used to gather data to identify the greatest challenges churches face in missions ministry. These challenges include developing accountability with missionaries, mobilizing and involving the congregation, developing a strategic, proactive approach to missions, qualifying and developing potential missionaries and encouraging financial support. The challenges and data from the church group meetings were shared with the EBM leadership to produce and initiative that will respond with help for churches.
