- Abstract
- This project evaluates an original assessment tool called the Ten Traits for a Lifetime. This tool is designed to measure the presence of maturity based upon ten traits in the life of the Christian. A biblical foundation for each of these traits is established from the gospels and epistles. The importance of integrating the meaning of spirituality, maturity and the Great Commission is discussed. The statistical testing demonstrated that questions did an adequate job measuring the internal reliability of six of the ten traits. The Ten Traits for a Lifetime can be an effective model for churches interested in becoming purpose driven around making disciples. It can also provide Christians with a helpful tool to evaluate their progress as a follower of Jesus Christ.
