- Abstract
- In 2002 the African Methodist Episcopal Church set out on a journey to reform, reorganize, and restructure the church for the twenty-first century. The heart of the transformational leadership is restoration and spiritual renewal of human life. Consequently, transformational leaders take on the responsibility of reinterpreting the old social, cultural, and historical context in a new spiritual and practical way. This research project explores the experiences of fourth-year students in the ministerial training program in the African Methodist Episcopal Church. The study strongly indicates the need for revision and revitalization in the ministerial training program.
