Abstract
  • The project develops and implements a psychospiritual model of adult development that illuminates healing. The study includes a comparative analysis of the psychology of Carl Jung and the spirituality of John of the Cross. The integrative approach of the model incorporates the intrapsychic, interpersonal, and transpersonal dimensions of the human personality. The model can be adapted for use in different ministries, although this project focuses on the ministry of pastoral counseling. The qualitative study yielded some initial insights that are tentative and inconclusive. Although the results were positive, further research is needed to test the usefulness of the model.
