Abstract
  • This project helps a small congregation of a mainline Protestant denomination to understand and to respond to its current situation and the needs of its community, using the Trinity as a relational model for revitalization. New life may come from a variety of sources, not the least of which is local mission. When a congregations reaches out, individually and corporately, it may find the vitality that eluded it while it was searching within. A relational model applied to mission is oriented toward partnership and is never hierarchical. The project offers tools and incentives for worship, study, a mission statement, and action.
