Abstract
  • This project proposes that Christian parents should reflect certain communicable attributes of God as they rear and disciple their children: veracity through genuine and reliable character in marriage and family relations; knowledge and wisdom in understanding children's developmental stages, personalities, and learning styles; love that meets inner needs for love, belonging, worth, confidence, and edification; communication through focused listening, effective expression, loving action, and conflict resolution; holiness in moral reasoning, emotional growth, behavior, and conscience; righteousness that trains godliness through telling, teaching, participating, and delegating; power and sovereignty in correction that balance control and support through reward, restriction, retribution, and relief.
