  • The purpose of this project is to develop a preaching rhetoric that will communicate more effectively with the postmodern mind of Generation X Air Force military personnel, through the use of multimedia and drama that are culturally relevant and familiar to baby busters, while maintaining scriptural integrity. Generation X worldviews are examined with consideration of the historical perspectives on rhetoric, preaching, technology and the limits of persuasion. The author preached four sermons at Nellis Air Force Base Generation X worship services. Evaluations show high levels of comprehension, effect toward change, interest and personal identification. The value of these methods was undeniable.
