Abstract
  • The Catholic Church in Romania has gained a new freedom to practice religion and to organize the church in public since the revolution of 1989. Unitl recently, most Romanian Catholics were unaware of the post-conciliar renewal taking place in other parts of the world. The project includes two parts. The theoretical framework includes an examination of inculturation, an overview of contemporary catechesis, a contemporary understanding of the Romanian Church, and the socialization model. The application offers the participants a basis for organizing catechetical programs and it prepares them to develop an implementation plan for the Catechism of the Catholic Church.
