- Abstract
- Ethnic theologizing is an important part of helping people groups connect life and faith. When Christians gather as an interpretive community of faith to examine culture and relate the significance of the Bible to their life situation, ethnic Christian assertions of belief and practice can be formulated. Methodology for the task of ethnic theologizing involves the examination of a given people group by Christians within that group deriving theological statments from key informant descriptions of traditional beliefs and practices and biblical truths related to the same subject matter. The author led Baptists of northern Ghana to write 'Mamprusi Christian marriage'.
