Abstract
  • This project explores Eastminster Presbyterian Church's self-understanding and theology of cross-cultural community. It defines what it means to say that Eastminster is cross-cultural by listening to the stories of its leaders and congregation and the lived experiences that have sustained this community in their ministry. Furthermore, this project utilizes the biblical and theological foundations of cross-cultural communities of faith, as found throughout the Bible and other theological scholarship, as a conversation partner to Eastminster’s self-understanding and theology to challenge and deepen our own understanding, practice, and lived experience.
