Abstract
  • The ministry project was designed to enlist, develop, train, and empower a leadership team from Sequoia Heights Baptist Church in team-building skills. It grew out of the director's need to build a team to lead the church in building and relocating to a new facility and his need to encourage team-building skills. A three-day retreat and four monthly workshops were created to train the team in biblical team-building concepts. The result is that the team emerged as a strong, cohesive unit, they took ownership of the process, and the director developed as a builder of teams.
