Abstract
  • This is a project to determine: 1. if a daily discipline of devotional-relaxational exercises can lead to a reduction of hindrance to one's worship and prayer life from selected stress-related problems, and 2. if a devotional-relaxational guide for reducing these hindrances can be helpful to practicing church members. Fourteen church members followed a daily devotional plan for six weeks. Tested before, during, and after the six weeks of daily devotions, the participants reported frequency of perceived hindrance to worship and prayer life in devotion to God. In personal reports and through the test data the participants affirmed the hypotheses of the project.
