Abstract
  • This paper shows a new way to train students to solve problems in conflict resolution. It proposes that students use peer mediation in a Scriptural based program. The project uses previous evaluations of peer mediation programs and results of a questionnaire sent to all Lutheran High Schools in the United States. The research shows a need for scriptural based peer mediation. This includes a peer mediation workbook with sample forms and letters. In response the paper espouses ways to implement a successful peer mediation program. The uses of conciliation in leadership development may be incorporated into elementary, middle, high school, college, and seminary training.
