Abstract
  • This project examines motives and practices of Christian giving among 189 members of 22 congregations of the Lutheran Church in America in Northeastern Pennsylvania, analyzing them in light of biblical and theological perspectives. The 'I/Thou' relationship with God and with others is a primary premise for the practice of Christian giving.
