- Abstract
- This project focuses a possible way to bring religious harmony in Korea under the situation of religious and cultural conflicts. In order to provide a theoretical framework for inter-religious dialogue, this project suggests a cross-cultural interpretation as a remedy that would serve to avoid cultural and religious struggles in Korean society. The project also explores a concrete example of cross-cultural interpretation. Placing a wisdom text in the Hebrew Bible in conversation with Korean wisdom texts offers the affinity between those two cultures to build a cross-cultural bridge through a more enriched hermeneutical encounter.
