Abstract
  • Chinese churches are growing and so is their need for English pastors. This study highlights the most often faced biblical and cultural issues in Chinese churches. The author interviewed 13 of the largest Chinese churches in the San Francisco Bay area to discover their candidating process. As a result, key principles and a ministry model were developed to clarify these issues. Diagnostic and candidating tools were produced; also a behavioral model of interviewing and sample questions for churches and pastors are included.
