Abstrato

In this thesis five ministers in the Church of Sweden who have taken part in the Doctor of Ministry Program at The Association of Chicago Theological Schools, ACTS, are interviewed. The thesis also describes how the Kvalificerad Fortbildning Predikan, KFP, came into being and how the cooperation with ACTS was developed. At the end of the thesis there is a reflection on the author's own training for the ordained ministry in the Church of Sweden during the 1980s, and how profoundly he was influenced by the KFP and his stay in Chicago during the summer of 2003. At the very end of the thesis there are three sermons by the author preached from the fall of 2003 and to March 2004. Hopefully they can be seen as examples on the author's own journey as a preacher.
