Abstract
  • This project describes a vision of ministry dedicated to the intentional and methodical development of clergy. The goal is for professional clergy to identify, mentor and elevate women and men through a clergy apprenticeship and into transformational leadership. A panel of experienced clergy evaluated the model. The results indicated that the Mentoring Model was most successful as a catalyst for structuring the process. The results also indicate the presence of a prevailing impact on the Kingdom of God. The model provides biblical teaching, forum discussions, creative learning and supportive structures designed to enhance the intentional practices of mentoring.
