Abstract
  • The author sought to answer the following questions: What discernment process can be used to contextually understand God's call to ministry? What effective difference does call make personally, professionally and institutionally? How can people know that God is at work in their lives while they serve others/ What difference does faithfulness to God make in secular settings that seem unrelated to Christian norms? What sustains the Christian life in terms of vocation in such an environment? Interviews were conducted and three workshops held to explore theological, biblical concepts demonstrating that Christian vocation in secular setting is an important question.
