- Abstract
- The author researched the critical issues for the college-age young adult in the areas of psychological development and spiritual growth. The author interviewed twenty college students, and he examined the written material of major theorists in the psychological and spiritual fields including Erik Erikson, Daniel Levinson, Carol Gilligan, Henri Nouwen, Brother Lawrence of the Resurrection, and Sharon Parks. The result of this research was that there are three major issues for the college-aged young adult: identity, intimacy, and forming a dream. The conclusion reached in the study was that there is a tremendous opportunity for ministry in addressing these issues.
