Abstract
  • This report recounts a form of self-ministry which involves a study of one male minister to understand God's action in his mid-life transition. The report uses a basic form of heuristic self-reflection coupled with group interaction to unearth psychological and theological data. This data is then used to tell a mid-life faith story to show how images of God changed. The conclusions reached in this study are that ministry becomes more creative and God centered when a person permits deeper self-understanding, and that ministry becomes more authentic when a personal God is known.
