- Abstract
- The Planning Cycle, through its implementation and evaluation, will breathe new life and vision into Bethel Baptist Church. The congregation will divide its attention into five areas. First, through mission clarification, they will identify the purposes of their church--what God is calling them to be and do. Second, through congregational assessment, they will study a 'snapshot' picture of where they now are. Thirdly, through the process of goal setting, they will decide where they want to be and form goals which reflect their purposes. Fourth, they will, through implementation, develop objective steps by which they will plan how to arrive at their goals and priorities. Finally, they will make an evaluation of the planning cycle to determine how close they came to fulfilling their goals.
