- It was the goal of this study to develop and implement a model of spiritual renewal for Arlington Baptist Church, and in the process answer the question: Can a new and viable church rise from the ashes of the existing Arlington Baptist Church? The corresponding chapters of this work are a combination of church and community history, a biblical/theological examination of the remnant, a consideration of the process of transition, and transition at Arlington Baptist church using a remnant of believers. In terms of a new church rising from the ashes, the full potential has barely been realized. A great deal of patience, prayer and creative thinking will be necessary to keep the church focused on what it means to build the Kingdom of God and not simply more church buildings.
