- The thesis of the project was that the message of the Old Testament needs to be reclaimed by the modern evangelical church. The project describes a series of Old Testament expository sermons. The author described a series of small group meetings devoted to Old Testament Bible study. The project also listed several challenges in understanding and applying the Old Testament. The research consisted of a questionnaire given before and after the sermon series. The research determined that many evangelical Christians are in need of basic training in the Old Testament.
