- Abstract
- This project explores and describes a small Christian community's life history in order to determine and evaluate the strength of its ministry. The project completed a systematic community assessment using the primary technique of life history, complemented by participant observation, secondary analysis, and surveying. The project integrates theological understanding of what it means to be an evangelical Christian congregation, reaching out with the Gospel to all people, in tension with practical considerations of continuing a site-based model of ministry, which is difficult to maintain due to realities of changing communities and economics.
