Abstract
  • A pastor's spirituality is at the center of their ministry and lives. Therefore, a pastor's life and ministry without authentic spirituality leads to burnout. To nourish and enrich spirituality requires discipline and direction. The formation of spirituality, although intensely personal, often requires both difficult self-struggle and professional guidance. Therefore, pastors need spiritual development to overcome situations of potential burnout. Burnout is manageable and can be facilitated through a spiritual development center.
