- Abstract
- Evangelism models that at one time were effective in reaching the unchurched now have limited effectiveness with 'Generation X.' This project investigates the effectiveness of existing evangelism models and seeks to discern and develop new models for reaching Generation X. Employing varieties of demographic data, the project conducts small groups, surveys, target groups and seminars over seven months. The project finds that Generation X responds quicker than other generations to specific invitations to many levels of participation, short-term objective oriented ministry tasks, and an honest, relationship-based community.
