  • The purpose of this project was to select and train a group of Sunday school teachers in order to improve their pedagogical skills. The author researched the history of the churches in the area and studied the reasons for the weak pedagogical skills. He wrote curriculum which was designed to improve the quality of religious education. The project reviewed the biblical background for sound teaching and used the information as a guide for the enhancement of teaching skills. Further research revealed that theoretical problems would be alleviated by a better equipped teaching force. A study group was assembled from the area churches and trained with improved skills.
