Abstract

This project includes the defense and production of a manual in communicating Bible messages produced primarily, but not exclusively, for the Theological Education by Extension program of Concordia University, Wisconsin. The manual sets forth the expository method, laying out a series of ten steps which move from the biblical text(s) to the outline of the message. The goal is to develop a 'BRIC' solid message, that is, one which is (b)iblical, (r)elevant, (i)nteresting, and (c)lear. The manual is accompanied with both audio and videotapes designed for use by the instructor in teaching the course.
