Abstract

The overall goal was to evaluate ministry in light of the feminist perspective. A study experience is conducted in two churches served by the author. The study included both an introduction to feminist theology and ministry as well as an evaluation of the author's ministry in relation to these perspectives. Also, thirty churches were surveyed, fifteen served by clergywomen, fifteen served by clergymen. An attempt is made to determine whether lay people's perception of ministry changes after experiencing a woman as pastor. There does seem to be some change in perspective.
