Abstrakt

This research project sought to understand what factors advanced or limited evangelism in Ukraine. To learn about this, a qualitative narrative approach was used and data was gathered through interviews with eight Ukrainian evangelists. The questions investigated the theological, historical-cultural, and relational contexts in Ukrainian society to understand what is affecting evangelism in Ukraine. The author concluded that there is a good theological foundation in Ukraine, but it is insufficient to result in an evangelical experience. Also, older forms of mass evangelism are ineffective and what is most effective is evangelism incorporates a personal aspect, ministry to children, and humanitarian aid.
